Carol has been married to Terry for 50 years and is the mother of 4 children, and proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren. She served alongside her husband in located ministry and mission work for over 50 years. She enjoys ministry to women, speaking for retreats and events, as well as writing. Some of her articles can be found at Renew.org The Stines now reside in Anderson, IN–5 minutes from four grandchildren. God is good. Carol oves the church, and her family and has fun babysitting her grandkids- right now five-year-old Emma and three year old Owen are close enough for us to have grandma time! She welcomes opportunities for counselling and encouraging women at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee, teaching a Bible study, or presenting for women’s groups and event, and will always practice hospitality and thanks God for a home that allows that to happen. Carol also enjoys time to read and garden. Most importantly, she loves to pray and trust God for everything.

Carrie loves Jesus, her husband (Steve), her kids (Emma and Owen) and too many more people to mention here. Her background is in education, but she has ministered alongside her husband with Youth in Idaho and now Young Adults at Gateway Christian Church. Her workshop will share 15 years worth of anecdotal stories of discipling these amazing people. She is also passionate about missions and literature and has combined both by being a personal book shopper for missionaries and operates a private lending library to serve as a light among the literary darkness.

Jeannie has been married to her best friend, Doug, for almost 19 years. She was born in St. Louis, then her dad’s job at McDonnell Douglas took their family many wonderful places: Maryland, Virginia Beach, Virginia and then Ireland. After 2 years in Ireland they moved back to St. Louis. She married young and moved to Charleston, South Carolina with her new husband. He got out of the Navy and they returned to St. Louis and welcomed 2 children, Brad and Tara. When her husband lost his job, they moved to Nashville. After 25 years they divorced and she moved back to St. Louis. Jeannie has enjoyed a career in banking, holding many positions, from Bookkeeper, to Administative Assistant, to Manager, Trainer and finally writing procedures. Jeannie and Doug have been attending WCC for 5 years. They love being grandparents to 4 wonderful grandchildren: 3 boys in Dallas and a beautiful granddaughter in Nashville.
She looks forward to sharing how God has shown up in the middle of the chaos in her life caused by an emergency C-section, a bank robbery, a divorce, and the death of her father 2 months into the COVID shutdown.
Faith/Family/Friends isn’t just a “wall plaque” saying to her – it’s a great advice for how to invest your time. Her mantra in life is “Be Kind and Show Grace” … you never know what someone else is going through. That’s why it’s so important to share the good news of Jesus with them!

Karen is a former missionary nurse, Bible Translator, and literacy specialist who served with Pioneer Bible Translators in West Africa for 19 years alongside her husband. Together they completed the translation of the New Testament and several Old Testament Books into the Pular language of West Africa. She has authored numerous linguistic books in five different languages, as well a missionary memoir of her faith journey through fear, anxiety, depression and trauma entitled “I Will Fear No Evil.” She has four grown children, (two which were adopted from Guatemala), and two grandchildren. She currently works as a functional holistic practitioner in her own virtual private practice, as well as a part-time surgical nurse. She serves alongside her husband who is pastor of a small church in Missouri, teacher, and part-time missionary editor.

Lia is a wife of a pastor, mom to 3 kids and 2 bonus kids, and Mimi to 2 . She is an assistant preschool teacher at Wentzville Christian Preschool (Wentzville Christian Church). She is new at this leading a workshop thing, but has been asking God to stretch her, so that others know they are not alone.
